What gets measured
Anonymous usage: which sections and demos you see and use, from which country (never your IP address), on what kind of device, and how fast the site runs. It goes to Mixpanel through this site, with no cookies; Mixpanel keeps an anonymous id in your browser’s local storage.
Errors
If something breaks, Sentry gets the error with technical details (browser, demo, quality level). No personal data and no session recordings.
The drawing game
If you send a drawing, the site stores its strokes and the name you type (optional). It stays hidden until I approve it. Your browser keeps an anonymous id and a secret so only you can see your pending drawings. To limit abuse, your IP is turned into a daily salted hash that cannot be reversed, and deleted after two days.
Services
The site runs on Vercel, the drawings live in Neon (Postgres), the live drawing goes through Pusher, analytics through Mixpanel and errors through Sentry.
Deleting a drawing
Write to hola@mateocarranza.dev with the name you used and roughly when you sent it, and I’ll delete it.
